Easter Devotions - Day 4 - Thursday
Continue the intensity of Easter Week with this honest and powerful devotion from Mark 14:26-72.
From the Garden of Gethsemane to the courtyard of denial, we witness both the deep anguish of Jesus and the weakness of His closest followers. As Jesus prays in surrender, “not what I will, but what You will”, He chooses the path of obedience, even to the cross.
At the same time, Peter’s story reminds us how easy it is to fall, to fear, and to fail, even with the best intentions.
Yet this passage is not just about failure.
It’s about grace.
It’s about surrender.
It’s about a Saviour who remains faithful, even when we are not.
As we reflect today:
Will we watch and pray, or drift into distraction?
Will we trust God’s will, even when it’s costly?
Where do we need His grace in our weakness?
Watch now and be reminded that even in our failures, Jesus is faithful and His purpose still stands.
