Why We Give

"One person gives freely, yet gains even more; another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty. A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed."  Proverbs 11:24-25

Giving our money is as much a part of our worship as our singing. That’s why Jesus talked more about money than almost any other issue, because how we use our money reveals what we value in our heart. How much you give is between you and God, but we encourage you to be generous towards him, even as he has been generous towards you. We continue to thank God for the many generous people within the church who are sacrificially giving, and we say with Paul in 2 Corinthians 9:11“You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.”
