He loves to spend his free time on family, friends, films, food and football!
Akhtar Shah | Pastor overseeing Kingston, Croydon, Richmond
Akhtar leads the Kingston venue of Everyday Church and leads the church’s team of Ministry Directors. He is married to Marta, who teaches Art at secondary school. They have two young children, Joel and Anastazja. Much of Akhtar's wider family is Muslim and Marta is from Poland, so they like to claim that their children reflect the diversity of 21st-century London. Akhtar has worked for many years as a social worker and he also leads Everyday Difference, the social action wing of the church.
Adam Bream | Pastor overseeing Southfields and Clapham
Adam leads Everyday Southfields and is married to AJ, a primary school teacher. Both met Jesus and then met each other at Everyday Church and are born-and-bred south-west Londoners; meaning they have deep roots and a long-term passion for their local community! When they’re not in London, they love to spend regular time on the beach in Cornwall, along with their kids, Elijah and Bethany. Adam oversees our work in Southfields and Clapham.
