Everyday Church is led by men and women of all ages and backgrounds, directed by a team of pastors.

Because we are convinced that God uses very ordinary people to do extraordinary things, we believe that the task of senior leaders is to serve those they lead, bringing the best out of all the wonderful men and women that God entrusts to us. Each of our venues is lead by a team of Pastors (sometimes referred to as Elders) and by a team of Ministry Leaders who serve alongside them. Together, the Pastors of these venues lead Everyday Church as a whole.

Some of our Key Leaders

Phil Moore | Lead Pastor

Phil is married to Ruth, a local GP, and they have four children. After reading History at Cambridge University, he worked as a missionary in Paris, then worked for six years for the US consumer-goods company Procter & Gamble. He moved to London at the start of 2010 to start leading one of the churches which went on to found Everyday Church. Phil is the author of the "Straight to the Heart" series of devotional commentaries and of the book "Gagging Jesus" - see www.philmoorebooks.com. He loves to spend his free time on family, friends, films, food and football!

Karen Moore Central Operations Director and Chair of Trustees

Karen worked for many years as Managing Director in an international bank, heading up global and regional teams across multiple businesses and disciplines. She is married to Tom and they love spending time with their daughter.

Akhtar Shah Pastor overseeing Kingston, Croydon, Ricmond

Akhtar leads the Kingston venue of Everyday Church and leads the church’s team of Ministry Directors. He is married to Marta, who teaches Art at secondary school. They have two young children, Joel and Anastazja. Much of Akhtar's wider family is Muslim and Marta is from Poland, so they like to claim that their children reflect the diversity of 21st-century London. Akhtar has worked for many years as a social worker and he also leads Everyday Difference, the social action wing of the church.

Sid Rall

Sid Rall Pastor overseeing Southfields and Clapham

Sid and Jen grew up in South Africa and felt God calling them to move to London over ten years ago in order to learn about how to plant churches. Although they and their two children love living in the UK, they can't quite hide their excitement whenever South Africa beat England in the rugby. Sid oversees our work in Southfields and Clapham."
