Phil is married to Ruth, a local GP, and they have four children. After reading History at Cambridge University, he worked as a missionary in Paris, then worked for six years for the US consumer-goods company Procter & Gamble. He moved to London at the start of 2010 to start leading one of the churches which went on to found Everyday Church. Phil is the author of the "Straight to the Heart" series of devotional commentaries and of the book "Gagging Jesus" - see www.philmoorebooks.com. Akhtar Shah | Central Ministry Director
Akhtar leads the Kingston venue of Everyday Church and leads the church’s team of Ministry Directors. He is married to Marta, who teaches Art at secondary school. They have two young children, Joel and Anastazja. Much of Akhtar's wider family is Muslim and Marta is from Poland, so they like to claim that their children reflect the diversity of 21st-century London. Akhtar has worked for many years as a social worker and he also leads Everyday Difference, the social action wing of the church.
Karen Moore | Central Operations Director
Karen worked for many years as Managing Director in an international bank, heading up global and regional teams across multiple businesses and disciplines. She is married to Tom and they love spending time with their daughter.
Sid leads the Southfields venue of Everyday Church. He is married to Jennifer and they have two kids - Nathan and Elizabeth. Sid and Jennifer come from from Fish Hoek, a beautiful seaside resort near to Cape Town, South Africa, but they felt called by God to move to London to become part of what God is doing in our global city. Sid struggles to hide how happy he is whenever England lose to South Africa at rugby.
